Inspiring Leadership Foundation is a charity committed to empowering women and girls, advancing communities and creating economic opportunity for people who need it most. Through programmes like the Inspiring Futures Academy and events like Ride to Inspire, they work to turn aspiration into real, lasting change.
Charities working in empowerment and community development often struggle to stand apart visually. The sector has its own familiar shorthand, stock imagery of clasped hands, generic sans-serif logos, palettes that hover between safe blue and optimistic orange. The result is a sector where organisations can look indistinguishable from one another.
The Inspiring Leadership Foundation needed a brand that communicated their mission, one that could speak to the women and girls they support, the communities they work within, and the donors and partners they depend on.
The logo leads with feeling. “Inspiring” is set in a flowing script, expressive and warm, the kind of letterform that feels personal rather than corporate. “Leadership Foundation” follows beneath in a smaller clean sans-serif, adding structure to the logo while keeping the attention on “Inspiring”.
The birds rising from the script are the detail that lifts the identity by reflecting their mission. Suggesting freedom, aspiration and upward movement, they extend beyond the logo as a repeating pattern across materials, giving the brand a signature that is recognisable and meaningful across every application.
The palette of deep plum, navy, warm gold and blush pink is a deliberate departure from typical charity branding. Rather than colours that simply feel safe and approachable, these signal celebration and ambition, a reflection of how the foundation sees the people it works with and what it believes they can achieve.
Inspiring Leadership Foundation now has a brand that reflects the ambition of its mission. It is warm enough to connect with the people it serves and substantial enough to earn the trust of those who fund and support it.
