Brand creation involves creating key brand elements such as a unique visual expression, brand personality and positioning that identiﬁes and differentiates a product from it’s competitors.
My client came to me with a vision to create a new health brand. They needed creation of the entire brand including the name, logo, website, brand guideline and marketing. The purpose of the brand was to promote a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating, alternative medicine and ﬁtness as recommended by a doctor.
The client left the creation of the brand in my hands. I was given creative freedom with the name and brand look and feel. We wanted to convey the organic, natural and green elements of the brand values, whilst ensuring the tone and imaging was not too serious.
I came up with the name Doctor’s Diet and then developed the brand logo. The typography ‘r’ represents the roots, emphasising the point that you are ﬁnding the root of the problem through diagnosis. The tree represents a green and natural approach to ﬁnding the solution to the problem. The leaves are made up of various icons representing the services the company will offer. The services include a clipboard representing the nutritional plan, a smartphone representing health technology and a test tube representing solutions and medicines.
